   I'm glad you chose to visit my site! Just a short note to you all who have arrived here at the crow's nest.

   Growing up on the edge of the Big Woods of Maine has proven to be both a blessing and a curse. The things I write about are memories so deeply ingrained in me that they are a big part of who I am. I share these words with you in hopes that they will touch you, move you, and encourage you to embrace who you are and start really living the life we have all been blessed with.

   When I was a wee girl, my mother jokingly said that I was her little crow. She said that crows liked shiny things, so I must have had an early eye for sparkly bling, I guess!

   Through the years, decades actually, people who loved me pleaded with me to publish the things I wrote. But I didn't, and now most of the ones I loved so dearly are gone.
